COHEN  Sidney Ted, 77, of Hoboken, passed away on January 29, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital in Hoboken.  Sidney was born in North Adams, MA, and also lived in Brooklyn, NY, before moving to Hoboken.

Sidney was a retired clerk for the Hoboken Dept. of Social Services, Senior Community Service Employment Program.  Prior, Sidney held various clerical positions for Bankers Trust Co., Steinberg & Lyman both of New York City.  He was also an office manager for Herzfeld & Stern Inc. in New York City.

Sidney was a member of the National Council on Aging Program.  He received a proclamation from the Mayor of Hoboken for his dedication in assisting senior citizens.  He was awarded the "Head Start Volunteer Award".

Sidney was a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology & Brooklyn Techinical High School.

Surviving are 1 son, 1 daughter & 6 siblings.
