Cheryl R. Hayes was granted her angel wings on Friday, February 4, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. She was born in Jersey City, N.J. on June 14, 1957 to Delores and the late Elijah Hayes.
She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters: Chanel, Chante and Chazmin Hayes; three grandchildren: Robert Neal IV, Jah Quill Powell, Chaniya Hayes; two sisters: Meryl Hayes, Jonita Carter; three brothers Jeryl Hayes, Jon Carter, Darnell Hayes and is predeceased by one brother, Darryl Hayes; She is the loving niece of Hazel Oliver, Vivian and husband Bobby Strong, Gloria Lynch, Karen Andrews, and is predeceased by two aunts and two uncles; A very special friend to Gregory Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial service will be on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1 PM at Monumental Baptist Church, 121-127 Lafayette Street, Jersey City, NJ.
